fall is here

Its already November and Baby girl is 6 months old now. She's holding her self up pretty good now. Rolling over and all. trying to push up to crawl. We got her in a new daycare in Humboldt. The one we had in Jackson was 105 a week and they wheren't taking care of her very well. Family is doing well. Haven't heard from Greg's family. Except for Lisa who is having surgery this weekend. Halloween Patience was a little bunny. She was sooooooo cute. I'm off this weekend. Its nice esp. after have been working alot of overtime. Greg is working at maytag with me now and we are on dayshift. Well i think i'll try to go back to sleep.. Patience is passed out on the futon and greggy is asleep in the bedroom. later jen

A lifetime of memories

Alot has happened in the last two months. Greg's mom passed away last month after a long fight with cancer. we shall always miss her. We got on dayshift and will start next week. Patience is about 19 lbs. And growing like a weed. She hasn't rolled over yet but she can put the passy in her mouth. Really broke right now. Well greggy's picking on me for being on her so i got to go. later jen

back to work

I've returned to work and i wish it wasn't. Its not that bad but i just wish i was with her. Today i was off and i had to take her to get her first shots. Gregs mom is doing alright.. still fighting.. well i better go she's sleeping in my arms right now. so sweet. love jen

5 year aniversery!

Oh i just relized that today is my 5 year aniversery at maytag! Man how time flies!!

A stay at home mom.. for now..

Well here I am in the middle of my maternity leave. Its been wonderful. I love being here for her. She is my sunshine! We usually don't get to sleep for very long because she wakes up to eat so often. Now though she sleeps 4-5 hours at the first part of the night then she sleeps 2-3 hrs at a time. She loves to be bounced and rocked. We have spent a lot of time at the hospital to stay with Darlene. She got out of the hospital Friday night and She has hopis taking care of her. The Dr said that she isn't well enough to do kemo so they told her there isn't anything they can do for her and she has 2-4 months to live. We went Saturday and Sunday and spent the days with her. Rose Hob's sister was here from Illinois. Along with his brother Wyatt and there family's. Also Hob's daughter DeDe. Dar was able to go out side and enjoy the warm pretty weather. I got to play with amber and she helped me feed patience. She is really good with her. Then yesterday Lizzy was there and got to hold patience with the help of Scott. It has been nice to see Greg's family so much. I just wish that it wasn't under these sucumstances. Lisa was here again last week and left Friday. She's supposed to come back June 8 with the kids. Well I better got eat while the baby is sleeping. Gotta run. jen

losing out on someone i love

we found out saturday that my mother in law Darlene doesn't have alot of time left. She may not make it this week. She has liver cancer and it doesn't look good. She had surgery yesterday and it went ok but it only was to releive some of the pain she was in. Greg and the entire family are sticking together in this time espually since they have a 14 yr old brother that needs everyone. Its so sad. I feel as if i'm losing a mom too. She won't get to see patience on her first birthday or see the rest of the grandchildren get bigger either. she's such a wonderful mom and grandmother. why does this have to be happening? why? i don't understand it.

My daughter is here

she is so beautiful, sweet, and i love her so much. I had her on April 27,2005 at 12:32 pm. She weighted 8lbs and 10 oz. and was 20 inches long. A Big Girl! Her name is Patience Romaine Alter. The past few days at home with her have been amazing. Mom, Dad, Holly, Andy have helped us alot by watching her so we could sleep. And Darline, Hob, and Zach brought us some baby formula and came by for a while the first day we where home. At the hospital she had lots of visitors. Granny, Sonia, Susan, Brittany, Becky, Debbie, Lizzy, Alyx, Stacy, & her three girls, Darline, Hob, Mom, dad, and thats all i can remember for now. I have had a rough few days healing. i've been swollen and sore, and its been hard to get around. But Greg has been so great with her. She loves her daddy so much. She looks for him when he enters the room. Right now she is in the bed with greg on 2 pillows and they are both sound asleep. its sooo sweet. ok well i'm gonna lay down back here since i have a minute. love jen

The waiting game

Well here we are again and I am still waiting on my baby! Now though Greg is mad because everyone is still calling her maddy. So now I think that we are going to name her something else. There are quite a few new names we are playing around with it. ok well I better go I'm making some spaghetti. ok bye

Still haven't poped!!!

Still waiting for my precious little girl to make her grand entrance! I can't wait. I can't believe she's teasing me like this. Man oh man.. I will miss her inside of me though. I love feeling her move. Its indescribable and amazing at the same time. But it will be nice not to hurt all the time again. Although I know that it will very painful but I know as long as Greggy is there with me I'll be alright.

I'm getting so nervious.. i went to dr today and all is well. i'm 2 cm dialted and i've been having contractions since monday night. they are only 20 min apart for now but they will only get worse before they get better. i started maternity leave monday night when i left.Debbie thinks it will be tomorrow. and Darlene thinks it will be Saterday. either way i'm ready to get this over with. ok well my food is done so i'm going to go. oh Chasity called me from work checking on me they are having me a shower tomorrow and they want me ot come up at lunch. :) i'm so excited..

one week remaining of work

Well here it is one week left til work is over for me for a while. my baby girl is due in 3 weeks and i am getting very nurvous! i can't wait til she is here and all the hard stuff is over. ok well i'm pretty tired so i'm going to go. love jen

the weirdest thing just happened that i just had to tell someone. so here i go. greg and i went to bed at 11 because we wanted to get an early start tomorrow. and for some reason madison woke me at 1 kicking really REALY hard. it seemed the longer i lay there the harder she kicked.. i finually gave in a got up.. and when i walked in the kitchen i just happened to see a car in my drive way. it was my brother bringing some punch for the shower that we are having here tomorrow. but he had driven all the way from jackson to bring it. it had to be frozen for tomorrow. But what are the odds of me walking in just as he came? i would have never heard him knocking on the door if not for madison. how did she know? she hasn't kicked that hard other then when he had his hand on my stomach. she kicked for him for the first time. since she's been still. i just thought it was strange. the kid's not even here yet and already a merical. my little merical.

March and very pregnant

well here it is march already with only a few weeks to go. we went up to Illinois with cam and craig the weekend of the 5th and had a really good time. the baby shower is the day before easter. my last day of work is april 14th. and i can't wait to get out of there. maytag sucks. greg worked on madisons room for a few months and is almost done. we are trying to have it already by the baby shower day all he likes is the window. its so cute. i just want to spend all my time in her room. :) well i better go. love jen

February thus far

Well i've gotten up to 144 lbs and my stomach is very large now. We are going up to Illinois in March kinda of a last get away before Madison comes. She kicks all the time making it hard to sleep. Work is going alright. I'll write more when i get the chance. Love jen

Decorating the Nursery!

This weekend we started our baby's room. We desided to go with dark blue bottom and light blue top part of the wall. Our theme is Precious moments. i am doing some murals for the walls and we need to get some matural for the curtains and the toy box. I'm just so excited about Madisons room. Greg has been priming the room i pulled all the wallpaper off the walls and we removed the carpet. it looks really great so far. I cant wait until it is done. well i better go. i'll catch ya later.
