The next Chapter

well so much thus far has happened since my last post. Guess i should begin with I did get the job at Rayovac. I worked there for about 2 months. It was a great job. Great People and Benefits. But it wasn't home. So the first week of Aug we came home to look for Jobs. We went to all the Factories in Jackson. And on a last min trip to Lexington we went to Manpower. And sure enough they had a job for me. At Auto Zone of all places! So they gave me a week to Go back and quit Rayovac and pack up all my stuff. The last week up there went smoothly. Patience helped pack as did Greg. And our friends Becky and John helped a lot too. they where great. I miss them. The plan was to pack up and move down on the Sunday. Not sure if Greg was going to stay a few extra weeks. I rented a small pull uhaul and Got it home alright. Then when we started loading her up. it didn't take long to figure out that we had more stuff than uhaul. So we planned to return in a week or two to get the rest. we had paid rent til the 31 so we figured that it was going to be ok. Dad and mom helped us alot. Uncle Ken let us use a storage unit out back to put all our stuff. We got back to Tn and I started my Job at AZ. I met a lot of great people. Like Emily and Megan. I even met a girl i had went to Elementary school with. And a few that had known Dar and Hob. And of coarse a lot that new Greg from the 6 years or so that he worked there. My start date there was Aug 12. and I quit Yesterday Cause i found a full time Job. But we will come back to that in a min. We went back to Illinois the last time the last week in Aug. went up on a monday afternoon with the largest pull uhaul that they have. packed up that tuesday and drove back that afternoon. but not before one last visit to Lisa's house. We left Amboy around 7:30 pm and due to a driving Road block that took us an hr to go 15 miles. We didn't get to mom and Dad's til after 6 am. We where so wore out. Now we have settled in in our lil house. Things are going well. We have been cooking almost every meal. and Greg has worked so hard outside. the porch and the yard looks incredible. I start a new job on Monday. its a bill collections job and it starts at the same pay i made at Rayovac. I don't know how i will like it but i guess I'll see. Patience is doing so good. She is potty trained now. and tonight is sleeping in under ware for the first time. she loves being home with her grandparents and seeking her cousins. Missy came a few days ago bringing Amber and Bearett. and Andy Brings Ellie over every weekend. So our story has begun a new chapter. hopefully it will all be worth it in the end and those two heartbreaking years in IL will prove to have been worth something in the long run.

for now so long, Jen
